Sooooo......
If those guys can net up a bunch of mullet, so can I, right? Probably, no, definitely, if they're running like Thursday but this is Friday and they're NOT running like Thursday. So after throwing my net in various places in the inlet with no success I settled in with some GULP! rootbeer flavored artificial mullet.
The couple right below us, in pity I'm sure, after watching my attempts to net up some bait gave me a bucket full of mullet they had caught. After that, it was game on! Rachel was getting into it too.

After I caught this trout she had a flounder on and lost him right at the waterline.

We had to take him to the Salt Run pier to clean him because it's the only place I know of that has a place to clean with running water.

Looking for a handout.
